In the port of Hirtshals the net and trawl vessel Isafold glows golden in the sun. The crew has worked all day unloading the last herring catch for this winter. Around 950 metric tons of Norwegian winter spawning (NVG) is being pumped out.

Owner and Skipper Karsten Mølgaard welcomed IntraFish sister publication Fiskeribladeton board.

The Isafold was built in 2006, and at that time was the biggest ever pelagic fishing vessel in Denmark’s fishing fleet with its 76 meters. Now it’s on its way to becoming the smallest vessel in the pelagic fleet.
