Bridlington shellfish skipper Andrew Cruddas has been delighted with the performance of his new under 10m static gear boat Stormy C WY 818 during her first six months of fishing.
Skipper Cruddas tells FN that Stormy C lived up to her name and proved to be a good sea boat during testing winter weather, when the boat regularly fished offshore alongside some considerably bigger boats.
Designed as a dual-purpose potter/netter, Stormy C features a deck layout seldom seen on a UK vessel.
