TWO Lowestoft companies owned by the same family have merged, reports Mick Harrod.
J T Cole, owned by brothers Donny and Michael Cole, has merged with the company owned by Donny's son Sam. They operate as Sam Cole Fish Merchants. The old established firm of J T Cole was established in 1935 by Sam's great grandfather.
Sam Cole has been in business since 1988, and currently runs his Sam Cole Food Group, comprising Sam Cole Fish Merchants, Lowestoft Shellfish Company, Capps Foods, A Kalkman and the Black Olive Delicatessen.
