WELL known Peterhead fish merchant Len Stainton died on 31 July after suffering a heart attack when visiting his family in his home town of Grimsby at the age of 59.

Mr Stainton moved to Peterhead from Grimsby in the 1970s and set up the firm of C Anderson, which soon became one of the most successful fish processing business in the port.
