Q: I'm trawling with one net using a standard hinged arm vee door fitted with a single backstrop.
The problem is my trawl doors are unstable and frequently fall-in when I'm on a straight tow; what can I do?
A: It is very easy for us to demonstrate the reasons for trawl doors collapsing at the flume tank but not so easy to explain in a few words but I'll try.
