IT is hoped that the fifth annual Johnshaven Fish Festival on Saturday 18 August will prove to be as popular as previous years, reports DAVID LINKIE.
The Lord Lieutenant of Kincardineshire will open the festival at 11am, organised by volunteers of the Benholm and Johnshaven Heritage Society.
A wide range of musical entertainment and other activities will be on offer for all members of the family, including displays by local emergency services. It is expected that over 3000 visitors will sample the delicious fish dishes, Indonesian cuisine and traditional strawberries and cream on sale throughout the day.
