Bangladesh and Iceland agreed to strengthen their collaboration on climate change and fisheries management, reports The Daily Star.

The two countries reached an agreement at a meeting between their respective Foreign Ministers AH Mahmood Ali and Lilja Alfredsdottir at the Icelandic Foreign Ministry in Reykjavik last week.

Mahmood Ali also met Icelandic Prime Minister Sigurdur Ingi Johannsson at his office and discussed bilateral cooperation possibilities on fisheries management, geothermal energy and climate change.
