ELECTRONICS Marine of Hull supplied Farnella's electronics package. The majority of the equipment is Furuno, Simrad and Scanmar, plus a Sodena colour track plotter from Ormston Technology in Fraserburgh.
The package is distributed around a main central console with most of the R/T gear on a separate console on the starboard side, where two Inmarsat C terminals and printers adjoin two Furuno GMDSS big sets.
The R/T installation includes two FS 1562 sets with safety back-up to the 24 volt power supply, one Furuno FX 210 weather fax, one Furuno NX 500 Navtex, two Furuno FM 8500 DSC VHF sets and one Furuno DSC 6A HF/MF controller.
