STAR of the show at Great Yarmouth's Maritime Fayre earlier this month was the former drifter Ocean Dawn, which was built by Richards of Lowestoft in 1956 for the Yarmouth herring fleet of Bloomfields, writes Mick Harrod .
Ocean Dawn was originally YH 77 and was one of four built together.
The others were Ocean Surf YH 107, Ocean Crest YH 207, and Ocean Trust YH 377. She fished from Yarmouth until 1963 when she was bought by Small and Co of Lowestoft, becoming LT 466.
