UK company Spencer Carter, makers of gill-net net haulers and other hydraulic deck equipment, had a very busy FISHING 99 demonstrating its products to many visitors.
Demonstrations included the company's net clearer, developed over the last two years.
"The Norwegians have had net clearers for some time, but we've refined our machine to suit the inshore fleet," says Stephen Carter.
"It took a lot of development because we had to make the moulds for the rollers on the back and that was costly.
