HARTLEPOOL Skipper Major Hartley's anchor seiner/trawler Sonderborg H 63 was given a new profile recently by Harris and Garrod of Grimsby.
Built 32 years ago in Denmark, the 18.35m Sonderborg was fitted with a threequarter length aluminium shelterdeck.
Opening hatches for working the seine ropes have been incorporated in the shelter.
Harris and Garrod also lowered the existing whaleback to blend in with the new superstructure.
A new codend gilson winch was fitted on the shelterdeck, and a Hiab crane and powerblock head fitted aft.
