An international group of scientists are in Greenland to examine the sustainability of Greenland’s halibut fishery as part of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification process for the fishery.

The fishery, which exports 25,000 metric tons a year to Japan and 30,000 metric tons a year to China is expected to be MSC certified in early 2017.
