The delivery of 170ft twin rig prawn scraper trawls to new Fraserburgh boat Amethyst continues a busy time for Michael Watt and the staff of Gardenstown-based Gamrie Bay Prawn Trawls.
Gamrie Bay is now making two 200ft by 100mm scraper nets for Scarborough skipper Bob Mainprize's trawler Maggie M while the vessel is berthed in Macduff for a refit.
A 160ft prawn scraper net has also been supplied to Shaulora BF 794, and two 200ft prawn scraper nets with redline codends to Roy McBride's Ocean Pioneer FR 928.
