Gael Force Marine is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month with a dinner dance in Nairn for all staff and another function in Stornoway, at which colleagues will look forward to the next 25 years, writes David Linkie.
Operating from its Marine Megastore headquarters at Inverness, Gael Force is well known to fishermen throughout Britain and Ireland for supplying a comprehensive range of fishing gear and manufacturing a wide range of shellfish creels/pots in Stornoway.
Creel production was the catalyst for establishing Gael Force in 1983, when the company was set up by Stewart Graham as a one-man creel-making business in Stornoway.
