MAY WE thank Doug Beveridge of the National Federation of Fishermen's Organizations for his response to our letter of 5 August regarding offshore windfarms and the NFFO's proposal (Letters 12 August).
We are happy to note that the NFFO will work to help fishermen verify their dependence on these areas and like ourselves will not support exaggerated claims for compensation.
However we are disappointed that the NFFO failed to answer the question regarding what percentage of British registered fishing vessels it has as paid up members.
