Words like ‘fear’, ‘threaten’, ‘oppose’ and ‘endanger’ will leap out from your screen, summing up the uneasy relationship between the fishing industry and the groups that support offshore energy development.
That is, until now. A group of fishermen from the east coast of the US have set up a company, called Fishermen’s Energy of New Jersey (FERN), that is pushing for the contract to develop the country’s first offshore wind farm.
