Faroe Agency handles 350 calls in a year

A GROUP of the shipping line Faroe Ship's staff decided to leave and set up their own company when it changed hands several years ago.

They formed the Faroe Agency and took with them much of the business that they had handled before - and particularly their work specialising in services for the Russian fleet operating in Faroese waters.

Arni Dam, recently appointed Russian consul in the Faroes, and Karl-Erik Reynheim now handle more than 350 calls each year from Russian fishing ships.
