THE 29m whitefish twin-rig stern trawler Endeavour IV BF 515, built by Macduff Shipyards for Peter Lovie and Partners of Whitehills, was named at Macduff harbour last Friday by Skipper Peter Lovie’s wife Natalie, reports David Linkie.
Endeavour IV is the largest vessel built by Macduff Shipyards.
Peter and Natalie Lovie’s sons Andrew, David and Ryan are crewmen on the new family boat for which safety, environmental issues and fuel economy have been given top priority.
The boat is the biggest new whitefish vessel to join the Scottish fleet since Macduff Shipyards delivered the 28m Venture II BF 326 in 2001 to Skipper Mark Lovie, who is also a partner in his brother Peter Lovie’s new boat.
