Henning Kjeldsen, one of Denmark's wealthiest fishermen, is selling his fishing vessel Gitte Henning to a Faroese company because of a fisheries agreement signed by the country in 2017 that makes business "impossible," reports FodevarerWatch.

Previous to the agreement, well-established fishermen were to lend money to newcomers, who could then buy shares in the boats and have a chance to buy quotas.

However, the new agreement forbids this, making it difficult to have projections in the fishing industry.
