THE LATEST Cygnus Marine Cyclone 30 fast fishing boat was launched last week for Shetland Skipper John Irvine.
"It's a pleasure boat with no licence and will be used for taking a feed of haddock by line fishing, " said Skipper Irvine as he explained that his other duties have first call - he is part owner and skipper of the 65m Shetland pelagic boat Zephyr.
The Seaspray of Whalsay was built to a high standard and will take the place of Skipper Irvine's present small boat - a Maritime 21 - which has given him many years of loyal service but has a restricted speed of less than eight knots.
