Ireland's leading whitefish port of Castletownbere received a welcome double boost recently with the joint arrival of two new 22.65m vessels - Sean and Joseph O'Sullivan's seiner/trawler Cisemair S 430, and the twin rig trawler Boy Jason S 440 for Sheehan's Fishing Company Ltd.

As with the Swedish built Sarah David and Ronan Ross, which arrived late last year, Boy Jason and Cisemair have been built with financial support from Ireland's fishing fleet development measure.

And in all four cases, the families involved have long played leading roles in helping Castletownbere to achieve its present status.
