There have been a number of changes in the Kilkeel fleet in recent months.
The twin-rig trawler Vellee II N 393 has been renamed Boy Ian BF 11 after Macduff skipper Barry Haggerty bought the 18m steel-hulled boat from Colin Murdock of Kilkeel.
Vellee II was built at the John Harker Shipyard, Knottingley, in 1974 as the whitefish trawler Radiant Trust H 256 for Bridlington skipper Robert Coates. Charlie Duncan of Fraserburgh bought Radiant Trust in 1991 when the trawler was renamed Primrose FR 223.
