TWO LARGE stern trawlers, Victoria May and Viking Monarch, were being prepared at Peterhead last week for their first trips for several years in Scottish waters after being bought back to Scotland from New Zealand and Ireland by their respective new Peterhead and Orkney owners, reports David Linkie.
Peterhead skipper William McLeman expected to sail from Peterhead in the middle of this week with his new command Victoria May PD 239, which arrived at the Blue Toon shortly before Christmas after steaming halfway round the world from New Zealand.
