Scrabster skipper James Bremner's crabber Boy Alan (WK 803) is based on the popular K 33 displacement GRP hull moulded by Kingfisher Boats, for which Seaway Marine Ltd. is Scottish agent.

Boy Alan, which is fitted with an aluminium whaleback and wheelhouse fabricated by Seaway Marine, is rigged for self-hauling with a one-tonne Seawinch slave hauler.
