Chinese firm Baiyang started a new program two years ago out of Africa and recently expanded it to Spain.

The program brings ocean-caught seafood from Mauritania to China as well as the United States, Europe and Japan.

A Mauritania-based plant processes the seafood seafood -- mackerel, sardines, octopus and squid -- there for export.

“The program started because demand is growing for ocean-caught fish,” said Baiyang GM Assistant Alex.

More recently, Baiyang started selling containers to Spain.
