GERMAN fish processing machinery specialist Baader has launched a new heading machine for small groundfish, reports Tom Wray .
Hartmut Haucke, Baader's managing director, also reveals to FNI that the company is to soon launch a newly-developed saltfish splitting machine to replace the Baader 440.
He says that the new Baader 541 saltfish splitter is on final field-testing and he expects it to be released in January 2002.
The Baader 541 is constructed using the latest technology in mechanics and electronics. It has an impressive working range, plus several new and exciting features and benefits, according to the company.
