BAADER ISLAND (Iceland) designs, produces and markets its own fish processing equipment in addition to servicing Baader machines built by the parent company at Lubeck in Germany.
General director Jochum Ulriksson tells FNI that the Icelandic company was set-up in the 1950s by his father and grandfather, who originally came to Iceland to work for Haraldur Bodvarsson, the fishing and processing company since absorbed by the HB-Grandi group.
