Aberdeen based Seatronics Ltd (stand J14) supplied Faithful's Scantrol auto trawl system, which is interfaced through a Scanmar net monitoring system receiving data from an array of net sensors.

After towing for an hour to settle the gear and trawl instrumentation, Skipper Milne started to apply more helm to fully test the Scantrol system. Even with considerable helm and the wires leading well to one side of the boat, the door spread remained constant as the winches adjusted the length of warp to compensate for the turn.
