SHIPBUILDING is to be revived at the Santodomingo yard in Vigo with the purchase of its installations by fishing vessel building specialist Armon of Navia.
In a move related to the sale of Santodomingo, the Rodman Polyships yard in Vigo is now expected to start steel vessel construction in addition to its GRP vessel moulding activities.
Renovation of the Santodomingo shipyard is due to get under way on September 15 and a new name is expected to be announced later this month.
