Primarily intended to operate as a crabber/potter, this boat will have a large deck area which can accommodate up to 60 crab pots, although it can be easily modified for trawling.
The vessel has a length overall of 7.98m, beam of 3.55m and an operating draught of approximately 1.2m. It is to be driven by a diesel engine of up to 130bhp.
The wheelhouse is offset to port, with the pot hauler on the starboard whaleback bulkhead. A duplicate set of engine controls are on the starboard outer side of the wheelhouse so that the vessel can be operated single handed.
