Five Star Fish’s processing plant in Grimsby is getting a £5 million (€6 million/$6.4 million) cash injection from its parent company 2 Sisters Food Group, after winning a large contract for retailer Marks and Spencer from Icelandic Seachill last year, report The Grimsby Telegraph.
The processor, which posted a loss of £4.2 million (€5 million/$5.4 million) in the full year of 2016, has taken on a further 150 staff at its Athenian Way site off Pyewipe, since it won the contract, bringing its total workforce to 500.
