Idaho-based trout producer Riverence Holdings let go of under 100 employees at its newly acquired subsidiary Clear Springs because of poor sales due to coronavirus's market turbulence, KMVT reported.

In the first two weeks of April, 97 Clear Springs employees were sent home, representing about 35 percent of the company's entire staff.

Another 62 Riverence Farms staff were laid off, as well as three employees from parent company Riverence Holdings.
