Salmon exporter Bravo Seafood’s sales decreased in 2015 as the company cleared up its accounts and accepted losses on old trade receivables, but the potential for lost market share over high salmon prices is even more of a concern.

Sales at Bravo dropped 3.3 percent to NOK 775 million (€82.5 million/$90.8 million), while operating profit went down NOK 3.4 million (€361,794/$398,276) to NOK 6 million (€638,460/$702,840).

“Last year was marked by high prices for fresh salmon. There were spells where prices varied considerably, which at times has proved a challenge to the company's operations," read the company's annual report.
