Labeyrie-owned UK shrimp processor Lyons Seafoods reported a steady year in its latest annual financial results with both turnover and profit barely changing compared with the year prior.
In the 52 weeks ending June 25, 2016, the company posted a flat turnover at £122.8 million (€143.8 million/$153 million) compared with £122.4 million (€143.4 million/$152.5 million) the year before, and noted "continued stability following the raw material availability problems of two years ago."
The principal activity of the company is the sale of shrimp and specialty seafoods to the retail, catering and manufacturing markets in the UK and Europe.
