Norwegian aquaculture feed producer Skretting is looking for guidance from Norwegian authorities as to its exports to Russia in light of that country's recent invasion of Ukraine.
The Nutreco-owned producer has three factories in Norway. Its facility in Stokmarknes has supplied feed to Russian salmon producers in the northwest of the country for several years.
"We are closely monitoring the situation, and considering what we should do," Skretting Sustainability and Public Relations Manager Leif Kjetil Skjaeveland told IntraFish.
"On the one hand, it is important that the fish in Russian cages get the food they need.
