Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer, announced Tuesday it is launching a strategic review of its feed division that could result in the sale of the arm.

The division operates mills in Norway and Scotland with production capacity of 460,000 metric tons and 240,000 metric tons respectively, and supplied nearly all of the company's feed requirements for its European salmon farming operations last year.

In 2024, the feed division generated revenues of just over €1.1 billion ($1.3 billion) and operational earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of €62 million ($65.1
