Fishmeal and aquafeed industry sources say they are expecting a more stable price outlook before the next anchovy harvesting season in Peru gets underway in the next two months.

Having suffered financially last year when the first anchovy season in Peru’s north-central fishing grounds was cancelled and the quota for the second greatly reduced, fishing and fishmeal processing companies are hoping that the rebound in harvests continues into the forthcoming second season.
