One more Norwegian salmon farmer is encouraging Brazilian soy protein concentrate (SPC) producers to expedite the deforestation-free cut-off date to 2020.
Bremnes Seashore will give preferential treatment to soy suppliers with the 2020 cut-off date until the existing 2021 cut-off date is in effect, the company announced on LinkedIn.
"We commend the leadership that our Brazilian soy protein concentrate producers have taken by setting a cut-off date and moving towards an end to soy-related deforestation in Brazil," the company said.
