Danish aquaculture feed giant BioMar announced Monday it reached a deal to manufacture and distribute feed in Iceland through a partnership with local supplier Fóðurblandan.
The partnership will make BioMar the only major global feed producer producing feed in the country.
Under the partnership, BioMar will produce feed at Fóðurblandan’s Reykjavik facility.
The facility will be upgraded, and a distribution facility will be added to supply BioMar’s portfolio of products.
BioMar has appointed Mike McLeish as business unit director for Iceland, while Johannes Gislason has been named sales & business development manager.
