The IntraFishMedia Excellence in Aquaculture Awards 2013 are scheduled for March 7 and 8 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bergen, Norway, subsequent to the annual North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF).
Nominations for the awards are open until Feb. 22. Proposals with a brief explanation can be sent to Daniel Rich at IntraFish. More details and forms can be found at at the official website.
The awards will be handed out to the best aquaculture farm managers and operators in 10 different categories, including innovation, escapes, animal health, livestock, health and safety at work, and cooperation with the local community,
Nominees from around the globe are welcome, provided the farm manager’s core duties are based at finfish aquaculture operations, be they on land or on sea.
