Haikui ‘optimistic’ about processed seafood in China
“There is strong reason to be optimistic about the future of processed seafood in China,” said Alan Gey, chief financial officer at China Haikui.
Sales of processed seafood in China have risen at a compound annual growth rate of 8.8 percent from 2006 to 2011, Gey said. That’s expected to increase to 10.5 percent from 2011 to 2016.
Gey listed some key reasons for this growth of processed seafood for the domestic market.
