Canadian shellfish harvester and marketer Clearwater is seeing "powerful industry fundamentals" drive growth in its business, Clearwater Seafoods Incorporated Treasurer Tyrone Cotie (pictured) told attendees at the New York City IntraFish Seafood Investment Forum.
Clearwater's unique, protected access to a scarce, highly-regulated resource, coupled with growth in per-capita consumption, positions the company well to take advatange of these drivers, Cotie said.
The company has diversified its global markets, channel mix and customer base, with no single customer representing more than 6 percent of the company's revenues.
Arctic Securities was the lead sponsor of the forum.
