Ecuador on winning streak in Chinese market
"Buyers from Europe and America are a very rare species at this show," East China Seas' Didier Boon told IntraFish when we caught up with him in the aisles this afternoon.
"Instead there is a new species: Ecuadorians," he said.
And it is true. The Ecuadorian presence at the show is far bigger than ever before, as Chinese seafood buyers gobble down the country's head on frozen shrimp at an increasing rate.
