The different development between prices for Norwegian and Chilean salmon remains to be challenging for Chile's salmon producers, Tore Valderhaug, CFO at Cermaq, told the audience at the recent IntraFish finance event in London.
Also the trout and coho market are expected to stay difficult, even though the price decline could potentially level off for trout and coho prices increased on certain sizes over the last weeks.
About Cermaq's recently published third quarter results Valderhaug said: "Our third quarter results were okay but nothing more."
