Spanish giant Grupo Pescanova's focus on aquaculture is growing, said Joachin Vina Tamargo, director investor relations of Pescanova, at the recent IntraFishSeafood Investment Forum in London.
Aquaculture accounts now for about one-third of the group's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of €183.5 million ($237.9 million) in 2011, and is "growing fast."
Turbot in particular has been growing well, said Tamargo.
