New Bedford-based Blue Harvest Fisheries witnessed a massive decline in foodservice demand for its seafood products, however, with more restaurants learning how to adapt to the situation the number can level up again, The Public's Radio reported.

Tuna, in particular, is being impacted. When Blue Harvest's latest tuna vessel landed amid the coronavirus chaos, no buyers were interested. The company had to freeze the product or sell at a very discounted price, said Blue Harvest President Keith Decker.
