President-elect Donald Trump has a novel approach to politics, I’ll give him that.
From dismissing the need for daily briefings to letting his kids tag along to meetings with world leaders and choosing to disseminate policy via Twitter, he has been nothing if not untraditional in his dealings.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with shaking off old traditions now and then. Or at the very least it is healthy to question why certain protocols exist. But when it comes to international relations, it is prudent to step carefully.
