Thai Union-owned canned seafood company King Oscar announced last month it plans to expand its US product line.

Its new canned Skinless & Boneless North Atlantic Mackerel comes in two flavors so far: Olive Oil, featuring the simple pairing of olive oil and “a touch of salt,” and Mediterranean Style, which features an olive oil base and is infused with a blend of Provence herbs, olives and red bell peppers.

“Mackerel has consistently been a popular product in our European markets,” explained John Engle, president of King Oscar USA.
