Xylem brand YSI just launched three new expansion models for its aquaculture monitoring and control line, and they are all designed to make farmers’ “job easier and improve the efficiency of their facilities,” according to YSI Product Manager Laura St. Pierre.
The modules, called IOEM-8, IOEM-4 and REM-4, “allow customers to interface with more devices and increase their control capability when connected to a YSI 5200A, 5400 and/or 5500D monitor,” YSI explained in a statement.
To put it plainly, the new modules allow users to configure up to 8 inputs and outputs — the inputs will allow them to integrate additional sensors or output from other devices, while the outputs can be configured to control pumps, UV systems, analog valves or send data.
