They say necessity is the mother of invention and in the case of Grimsby's seafood sector in northeast England this has certainly proved to be the case during the COVID-19 pandemic with restaurants closed or unable to serve sit-down customers because of lockdown restrictions.
Since the UK's first lockdown last march, the Grimsby seafood cluster has lost no companies and has seen the number of mobile fishmonger delivery vans increase to more than 100.
